Lumen is our regular talk series, with speakers drawn from the local community. Currently, we host an event every other Thursday through the academic school year (Sep to June).

Help create fellowship in the Seattle Young Adult community by joining the Mass & Dinner Team.

Mass & Dinner occurs on the First Sunday of the month at the 5:30pm Mass at Blessed Sacrament.

This monthly spiritual summit for young adults brings together Adoration with contemporary praise and worship, with the additional goal of facilitating encounters with God (via. Beautiful Adoration, prayer & healing ministry, street evangelization ministry, Confession, preaching, and testimonies).

Frequency: once a month, Sept-May.

Location: UW Newman (other possible options to be discussed, like occasionally at St. James Cathedral).

Commitment: Helpers we will be asked on a monthly basis 3-4 weeks in advance if they can help with P&A. Leaders in charge of different teams should aim to be present most events.

5:30pm Praise & Worship Team rehearsal beings

6:00pm All Team Leaders and Team Helpers should be present.

6:30-8pm: Praise & Adoration begins.

8:00-9:30pm: social.

Teams & Positions

We lead people towards discipleship with Christ and fellowship through the outdoors. We mostly do this by Hikes/Snowshoing and Masses, but also Backpacking trips and other events as well.

• the goal is for the OMT to organize and run one hike or event per month, with two people organizing each event together. This is usually on Saturday’s.

Have something you’re passionate about? Love Jesus? Then start a small group! The purpose of a small group is to create connection and fellowship in Christ. A Small Group is a micro-community of young adults (ages between 21-35) with approx. 3-20 members, led by one or two group leaders, and which meets on a regular and consistent basis. Becoming an official small group allows you to advertise through Frassati, and use Newman/Blessed Sacrament Facilities.

The Cemeterians is a service group that meets once a month at a local Catholic cemetery for light landscaping, prayer, and brunch. We beautify the cemetery by raking leaves, planting flowers and trees, trimming hedges, and making things tidy and clean. Then, we pray for the deceased in our lives and community--a two-fold work of mercy! Finally, we get brunch together for food and fellowship. This event is casual and all are welcome to join for any part.

Time: Second Saturday of the month. 9a-12p
