Timing:

Please meet at the trailhead by 9:00 AM. (We'll leave from Blessed Sacrament at 6:45 AM)

Leaving from the trailhead: 9:10am 
Hike: 6 miles round trip,1270 ft elevation gain

Expected hiking time(out and back): 3 hours.

Expected drive time: 2 hours. 

Estimated Hike return time: 4:30 PM, later if people stop for food on the way home

Pass required: NWF pass or America the Beautiful. 

Difficulty:

This is a moderate difficulty hike.

Cost: $10 to the driver 

What to Wear and Bring

1. Water

2. Snack and lunch

3. Hiking shoes (optional: second pair of comfy sneakers for the drive back)

4. Layers (no cotton)

5. Waterproof jacket

6. Appropriate pants (not jeans)

7. Wool socks (optional: second pair of socks for the drive back)

8. Hat

9. Sunglasses

10. Sunscreen

11. Bug Spray

12. Trekking poles (optional)
